El teatre : comunicació i educació

Cada cop és més gran la força que pren el teatre com a metodologia de formació personal i social. Les potencialitats que, en aquest sentit, presenta han fet que, en aquests darrers anys, fos més i més present en els programes i plans de formació i educació sota la forma de dramatitzacions i de teatre infantil. Tanmateix, altres fenòmens com ara el teatre popular, el teatre de barri o el "teatro campesino", mostren la seva funcionalitat respecte l'aprenentatge personal i interactiu en el si de les comunitats. El teatre constitueix una experiència que permet viure impulsos, emocions, sentiments i conductes que, a la vida quotidiana, normalment són reprimits. Tot allò prohibit a la realitat pot ésser viscut al teatre sense cap perill. Estem en el camp de la simulació, de la comunicació, i en l'àmbit de la "catarsi". La finalitat que hauria de guiar i orientar qualsevol tipus d'intervenció escolar i/o socioeducativa que utilitzés el teatre com a metodologia de treball, independement la tipologia de destinataris als que vagi adreçada i les determinacions de l'ambient, seria la d'ampliar o implementar els registres comunicatius de les persones.Every time is more the strength theatre is taking as a personal and social training methodology. The potentialities that, in this sense, presents have made that in these last years, was more and more present in the programmes, training and education schemes under the shape of dramatisations and childrend theatre. Anyway, other phenomenon like popular theatre, the district-theatre or the "peasant theatre" show their functionality with regard to the personal and interactive learning in the bosom of the community. Theatre constituites an experience that permits to live impulses, emotions, feelings and behaviors that, in the daily life, are normally repressed. All that forbiden in reality can be lived without any danger. We are in the field of simulation, of comunication, and in the field of "Katarsis". The goal that should guide and counsel any kind of school or socio/educative intervention that whould use theatre as a working methodology, independently from the kind or target gruup to whom it is adressed and the environment determinations would be to enlarge or implement the comunicative registers of the persons

Exploring different perspectives of Social Pedagogy : towards a complex and integrated approach

Some characterizations describe social pedagogy as a broad, complex, ambiguous and problematic concept that applies to very different things. This is due to the simplicity of the tools used to approach such a complex area. A change of perspective to interpret social pedagogy as a hybrid and complex subject may transform the alleged deficiencies into strengths and promise. This paper provides elements that enable such a change. To this end, some misunderstandings regarding social pedagogy are presented. These misunderstandings are scenarios and factors that have contributed (1) to the generation of inaccuracies and confusions about what social pedagogy is, could, or should do, and (2) to the projection of an inconsistent and poorly defined image of social pedagogy, i.e. a discipline without method and an ineffective and inefficient practice for solving social problems. The social pedagogy that emerges from the six misunderstandings (cognitive, policy-related, scientist, action-related, normative and social) is complex. From the new perspective, it is more of a hybrid subject (a concept, a discipline and a practice) that is complex, open, dynamic and ever changin

La modernización de la educación básica en El Salvador : el diseño de una investigación para la adecuación curricular en áreas rurales

En este artículo presentamos una investigación realizada en las áreas rurales de El Salvador durante el primer semestre del año 1997. El objetivo de este trabajo no es tanto el de dar a conocer los resultados obtenidos en dicha investigación -de los cuales también aportamos una muestra- cuánto el de mostrar la metodología de investigación seguida, que -entendemos- puede servir de guía para futuros trabajos de investigación a desarrollar en ámbitos de características similares. En el artículo se analizan, en primer lugar, los cambios e innovaciones introducidos en los últimos años en el sistema educativo salvadoreño con el objeto de definir el marco general de la investigación con la delimitación de objetivos y metodologías seguidas. Finaliza el artículo con algunos de los resultados obtenidos y de las recomendaciones elaboradas en función de ellos.In this article we present an investigation that was done in rural areas of San Salvador during the first quarter of 1997. The object of this study is not only to present a sample of the results obtained, but more importantly to show the method of investigation, which we believe, may be useful for future investigations in similar areas. Firstly, we analyse recently introduced changes and improvements in the El Salvador educational system, to define the general basis of the investigation, defining the objectives and methods used. Some of the results obtained and recommendations based upon them are described in the last part of this article

L'avaluació d'activitats i projectes d'animació teatral

L'Animació Teatral és un punt de trobada interdisciplinar que aplega cultura, educació i art en una barreja de tal manera que es fa difícil distingir cadascuna d'aquestes dimensions en les seves pràctiques concretes. Ens trobem així amb una mirada complexa que es dirigeix a un objecte també complex. El que es pretén en aquest treball és transitar entre aquestes complexitats tot elaborant, més que un receptari de solucions a possibles actuacions o problemes, una guia de reflexió que proporcioni recursos per emprendre, d'una forma enriquidora i des d'una perspectiva de millora constant, el desenvolupament d'activitats i projectes d'Animació Teatral. Per aconseguir aquests objectius s'ha estructurat l'anàlisi en dues parts. En la primera es reflexiona sobre les formes i els sentits que ha assolit i desenvolupat l'avaluació al llarg d'aquest segle. Del que es tracta és de plantejar un marc conceptual actualitzat pels processos d'avaluació a implementar en els projectes d'Animació Teatral. En la segona part, s'especifica aquest marc conceptual en la pràctica concreta dels projectes esmentats.La Animación Teatral es un punto de encuentro interdisciplinarque aúna lo cultural, lo educativo y lo artístico en una mezcla tal que se hace difícil distinguir cada una de estas dimensiones en sus prácticas concretas. Nos encontramos así con una mirada compleja que se dirige a un objeto también complejo. Lo que se pretende en este trabajo es transitar entre estas complejidades elaborando, más que un recetario de soluciones frente a posibles situaciones o problemas, una guía de reflexión que proporcione recursos para abordar, de una forma enriquecedora y desde una perspectiva de mejora constante, el desarrollo de actividades y proyectos de Animación Teatral. Para conseguir estos objetivos se ha estructurado el análisis en dos partes. En la primera se reflexiona sobre las formas y los sentidos que ha adquirido y desarrollado la evaluación a lo largo de este siglo. De lo que se trata es de plantear un marco conceptual actualizado para los procesos de evaluación a implementar en los proyectos de Animación Teatral. En la segunda parte, se especifica dicho marco conceptual en la práctica concreta de dichos proyectos.Theater is an interdisciplinary meeting point in which culture, education and art get together in a such a way that it is difficult to distinguish each one of them and their practice. We are faced to a complex approach aimed at an also complex target. The objective of this paper is to transit among these complexities and to elaborate not only a solution book to possible situations or problems but a reflection guide that offers the necessary resources to deal with theater activity and project development in an enriching and ever improving way. To reach these goals, the analysis has been structured in two different parts. In the first one, forms and senses developed by evaluation throughout the past century are analyzed. Its objective is to propose a conceptual and modernized framework for all evaluation processes to be implemented in theater projects. In the second part, the conceptual framework is specified within the practice of these project
